It's a gripping crime thriller basically, and will make a great movie as a result. <br /><br />Clearly it's heretical, factually flawed and essentially Brown's tirade against his catholic upbringing. A theologian friend of mine says he essentially nicked everything from one book written 20 years ago claiming all this stuff and has masterfully weaved it together to sounds almost convincing.<br /><br />And here's the point: for post-moderns with no theological frame of reference it's a more convincing argument than many others, including ours. And for that reason, Christians should and must read it, and also then be able to dialogue with people and help them seperate fact and fiction.
