the most perfect song

my friend Rich thinks the most perfect song ever is 'Fake Plastic Trees' by Radiohead. It's a fine song but I think the accolade should probably go to 'Lover You Should've Come Over' by Jeff Buckley. Perhaps we are both wrong. what do you think?

Otis Redding "Try a little tenderness" for me :-)

I would generally agree that anything by Jeff Buckley is pretty much top of the list. Although Professional Widow by Tori Amos is up there as well (not the remix), with most of her stuff as well. You just can't beat a bit of thrash harpsichord.

Amsterdam by Coldplay - their meisterwork, in my opinion!

it's all a matter of taste I suppose. wouldn't it be awful if there was some supposed pseudo-scientific way of determining which is the most perfect song ever.
BTW - welcome to the blogging world, Simon. good to have you with us.
